Pineapple Turmeric Tea

What do I need?
- 1 pineapple
- Turmeric powder
- Ginger powder
- Black pepper
- Honey
- Water for boiling
- Large pot
What do I do?
- Cut the crown, core, and skin of your pineapple off (keep the flesh for eating)
- In a large pot add your pineapple parts and cover with water
- Bring to a boil then let simmer for an hour
- Pour the pineapple "tea" into your mason jars or any container you plan to use
- Add in the turmeric, ginger, and black pepper to match your "taste buds". I put in about 2 tablespoons of turmeric, one spoonful of ginger, and 5 twists of black pepper. Why the pepper? Pepper is needed to help the turmeric work, otherwise you are just peeing it out.
- Sweeten with honey to your desired liking
- Enjoy warm or chilled
